Back in 1882: The Ashes

Comments:
Seems a very long time ago when the biggest trophy of bitter rivalry was no bigger than the distance between your index and fourth fingers. England and Australia, every fortyear (that's two years, given a fortnight is 2 weeks), play for an urn filled with The Ashes of a Cricket Bail. That's right, bitter rivalry over a set of stumps and bails, stuffed in a little urn. How tedious, but so much fun to watch.

Recently, Michael Vaughan won the Ashes, using a young team that showed continuity and youth, even against the masters of their art, the King of Leg-Spin Shane Warne, and the specialist line-and-length, almost 2m tall bowler Glenn McGrath.

Of course, 1882 is a heck of a long time in sport, so what did the urn look like back then?
